Woke up to sun over the mountains this morning which is one of the most surreal experiences ever. Despite the (obvious) excitement of the day, all you can do is lie there & stare.
Staring over….just got straight in the room, then down for a late breakfast. The food here is really something else…the restaurant last night served quite possibly the best food we’ve ever eaten. Its really impressive when 5 or 6 people come out with your food, then simultaneously put every plate down without even asking “Who’s having the fish?”. A little overbearing at first (especially that horrible silence while you’re expected to taste the wine & look like you know what you’re talking about), but we settled in quite quickly!
Anyway, last entry with single status…3 and a half hours to go & I have to say I am absolutely buzzing. Can’t speak for Jen as we’ve been separated (not out of tradition, its just that I had a lie in), but none of the nerves that everyone tells you there will be.
(Yikes…just caught today’s forecast…now, where’s that umbrella…?)
