Our Tannoy Arena sub has been booming away for nearly 3 years now without fail…its been one of those “fit & forget” items that’s just looked pretty in the corner of the room &, well, sounds like a sub should do.
Thing is, I can’t remember when it stopped working….We were just getting ready the other night & I cranked up the getting-ready-music….nothing. No lights, no sound….nothin’!
Anyways, I changed the plug fuse, tried another socket, swore at it…still nothing. Nearly two weeks later, got some free time on my hands so out with the screwdrivers (out of warranty so what the hell)
I get the first screw out then….hang on….what’s that? A cheeky fuse holder built in to the mains socket?
You betcha! 1.6A quick-blow fuse ordered from www.thefusecompany.com (£2.50 for pack of 10 just in case)….I’ll let you know!
